Dr. Hammouda is a highly skilled dentist who was trained at the University of Washington and earned a master’s degree in dentistry. She specializes in Oral Medicine and has been board-certified since 2018. Dr. Hammouda focuses on providing non-drug and non-invasive treatments for different medical conditions, especially chronic problems like headaches, jaw pain (a.k.a., TMJ pain), sleep apnea and bite misalignment (malocclusion).
She strives to be up-to-date with the latest advancements in oral and sleep medicine and uses the most advanced technologies to create personalized treatment to help her patients achieve optimal health and well-being. Dr. Hammouda is dedicated to providing the best care possible to her patients, and she combines her expertise with a caring approach.
In addition to her being diplomat of American Board of Oral Medicine, she is also qualified dentist by The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine after successfully completing Mastery Program.
Dr. Mark Abramson DDS is an experienced dentist specializing in treating TMJ (jaw joint) and Sleep Apnea conditions. He has been dedicated to helping patients with TMJ, headache, facial pain, and sleep apnea since 1975.
In 2004, Dr. Abramson received FDA approval for his innovative creation, the O2 OASYS Oral/Nasal Airway System™. This patented device is the first of its kind in dentistry and effectively treats snoring and sleep apnea by targeting the entire upper airway. It underwent thorough review by dental and ENT divisions of the FDA and was approved as a nasal and pharyngeal dilator for snoring and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Abramson is renowned as a teacher and lecturer, having conducted international courses on TMJ/TMD Cranio Facial Pain Management, Dental Sleep Medicine, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. He founded Stanford University’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Clinic and offers ongoing classes through Stanford University School of Medicine.
In his treatment approach, Dr. Abramson employs a range of effective techniques, including myofascial release, osteopathic manipulative techniques, cold laser therapy, acupuncture, splint therapy, and trigger point injections with lidocaine. These methods have demonstrated safety and effectiveness in resolving musculoskeletal issues that cause pain and dysfunction in the head and neck region.
